Junya Watanabe SS2025 Silver Metallic Biker Jacket, Mirror-Finish Faux Leather, Two-Row Zip Front, Size S

A classic biker jacket by Junya Watanabe rendered in a liquid, mirror-bright silver faux leather, with asymmetric zip, belted hem and zipped cuffs, from the Spring/Summer 2025 season.

The Piece

The biker jacket is one of Junya Watanabe's constant subjects. Season after season he returns to it, splicing it with trenches and capes, rebuilding it in patchwork, or, as here, keeping the archetype intact and changing only the surface. The result is instantly recognisable and entirely unexpected: a perfecto that looks as if it has been dipped in molten metal.

The shell is a high-shine metallic synthetic leather with the reflective quality of chrome. The construction follows the motorcycle pattern closely, with a wide notched collar with snap studs, an asymmetric main zip, zipped hand and chest pockets, a buckled half-belt at the hem and zip-closing cuffs. Inside it is lined in a fine black mesh that keeps it light enough for warmer months.

The care label records product code JO-J010, synthetic leather with a 100% polyester lining, dated AD2024, which places the jacket in the Spring/Summer 2025 collection. It is made in Japan by Comme des Garçons.

The fit is trim and true to a women's small, sitting at the hip. It needs little else: black knitwear, a slip dress or plain denim and boots let the silver do the work.
