The Piece
The A-2 is the leather flight jacket of the U.S. Army Air Forces, and its plain back became a canvas for the pin-ups, names and slogans that aircrews also painted on their aircraft. This example continues that tradition with a hand-painted pin-up girl and the name “Iron Angel”, worked on the leather of a classic military bomber jacket.
