10 clubs of Japanese gold, right-handed: Twin Marks PROTUNE-S FORGED ALL GOLD, three-star grade on DORIC TITANIUM PROTUNE shafts in stiff flex.
The Piece
Twin Marks was Honma’s flagship line through the 1990s and early 2000s, before BERES, and its gold-faced heads with the twin-mole mark are still prized by collectors of old Honma. The sets were graded by stars as BERES is now, the higher grades carrying more gold and lighter shafts.
The Protune-S Forged All Gold is the showpiece of the Twin Marks years: a forged head finished entirely in gold, with the gold medal on the back. This set runs 3 to 11 plus SW, 10 clubs in all, right-handed, on DORIC TITANIUM PROTUNE shafts in stiff flex.
Nine irons from 3 to 11 in the all-gold Protune-S forged finish, three-star grade on Doric Titanium Protune shafts, joined by a Protune 110 forged gold-medal sand wedge on a Dynamic Gold S200 shaft.
