7 clubs of Japanese gold, right-handed: BERES IE-05, three-star grade on ARMRQ∞ 44 3S shafts in regular flex.
The Piece
Since 1959 Honma has made every club in Sakata, in Yamagata prefecture, and BERES is the series that carries the house’s full craft: forged heads, hand polishing and carbon shafts wound on site. The star grade printed on the shaft tells the tier at a glance, from two-star standard shafts to three-star premium builds and the gold-plated four- and five-star editions.
The IE-05 is the larger, easier-launching companion to the IS-05 of 2016, with a wide sole and a deep cavity for a high ball flight. This set runs 6 to 11 plus SW, 7 clubs in all, right-handed, on ARMRQ∞ 44 3S shafts in regular flex.
A Japan-specification set, new and unused, with the shrink film still on the heads and the logo grips.
