A right-handed BERES 2024 set from Honma’s Sakata works, 3 clubs with ARMRQ FX LIGHT 3S shafts in regular flex in the three-star grade.
The Piece
Honma’s Sakata factory makes BERES irons the slow way: forged heads, hand finishing, and ARMRQ shafts wound in-house rather than bought in. Each set carries a star grade, two stars being the entry to the line, three stars a lighter premium shaft with gold accents, four stars and above adding 24-karat gold plates and rings.
The 2024 BERES iron is the current forged cavity design, with a thin face, a wide sole and the ARMRQ FX shaft introduced with it. This set runs 9 to 11, 3 clubs in all, right-handed, on ARMRQ FX LIGHT 3S shafts in regular flex.
Three scoring irons from the current line, standard specification with no custom work: 9 iron 35°, 10 iron 40°, 11 iron 45°.
