One face of this COTE MER bomber is built from several embroidered military shirts, dismantled and reconstructed; the other is cut from vintage kimono. Handmade in the atelier's own workshop, it is a one-of-one reversible jacket that wears as easily in street style as in a sportier register.
The Piece
The outer face of this bomber jacket was made by dismantling and reconstructing multiple embroidered military shirts; the reverse is lined in vintage kimono, so the jacket carries real atmosphere whichever side is worn. It is a versatile piece that can be styled for the street or with a sporty edge.
Each COTE MER piece is handmade one by one in the brand's own workshop, which makes this bomber genuinely the only one of its kind, a jacket for those who would rather not dress like anyone else and want to express their individuality. The reworked format draws on the souvenir jacket, MA-1 bomber and riders blouson traditions of Japanese street and vintage fashion.
