Chanel Vintage Round Sunglasses, Paris Lettering across the Lenses, Black Acetate, with Case

The round black frames with CHANEL PARIS printed across both lenses, as seen on the runway and on Linda Evangelista in 1993. The most recognisable vintage Chanel eyewear there is, with its case.

The Piece

Chanel’s early-1990s round logo sunglasses were made for a handful of seasons and have been chased by collectors and stylists ever since; they appear on magazine covers and on the street in equal measure.

This pair has been worn and shows it, as noted below, but the lettering is largely intact and the lenses are clear. It comes with the house case and is ready to be worn or framed.

Authenticity & Care

The season stamp, the weight and finish of the metal, the plating, the stone setting and the clasp are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch. Every piece carries the Japonista authenticity guarantee. Keep them in the case; clean the lenses with a soft cloth only, as the lettering is printed on the surface.
