The house quilting translated into gilt: round button earrings crossed with the matelassé diamond and centred on a raised CC.

The Piece

Each 30 mm dome is scored with the diagonal quilting of the 2.55 bag, the CC standing proud at the centre and the whole finished in warm gold plating. The backs carry the oval Chanel plaque and sprung clip fittings.
