Chanel Sunburst Pendant Necklace with Faux Pearl and Crystals, Champagne Gold, Autumn 2019 (19K)

A sunburst of marquise crystals and seed pearls around a single faux pearl, the CC riding just above it, on a fine champagne-gold chain. From Chanel’s Autumn 2019 pre-collection, the season of the starburst.

The Piece

Chanel’s 19K bijoux took the comet and the sun that Mademoiselle used in her 1932 diamond collection and reworked them in crystal and pearl. This pendant is the sun: rays of graduated stones around a pearl centre.

The chain is adjustable to about 59 cm, so the pendant sits at the sternum over a shirt or a knit. Light enough to wear all day.
