The Piece

Around the millennium Chanel’s jewellery studio set aside its baroque gilding for a season of restraint, and the pierced-lettering disc is the purest expression of it: no stone, no CC, only CHANEL PARIS stencilled through brushed metal.

The pair sits flat to the lobe on a secure clip and weighs almost nothing. It is a daytime earring that reads as Chanel only to the person standing close enough to read it.
