A miniature round Chanel bag in coral pink quilted lambskin, studded with small gold and gunmetal charms: CC logos, clovers, camellias and hearts.
The Piece
Chanel's lucky charms motif, scattering the house symbols across quilted leather, appeared on several small pieces around 2018 and 2019. Here they decorate a round mini bag no bigger than a powder compact, in coral pink lambskin with a mix of gold and dark gunmetal studs.
The bag zips round its circumference and opens to a pink lining with two slip pockets and the Chanel Made in Italy stamp. The antique-gold chain is threaded with pink leather and runs to a long 130 cm drop for wearing across the body.
At 12 cm across it holds cards, a key and a lipstick. It is the kind of piece that finishes an outfit rather than carrying the day.
