Chanel Lace Disc Pendant Necklace, Resin with Faux Pearls and Crystals, Gunmetal Chain

A fragment of black Chanel lace caught in clear resin, scattered with faux pearls and crystals and hung from a gunmetal chain. A necklace that looks like a keepsake from the atelier floor.

The Piece

Chanel has long treated its own materials as jewels, setting tweed, camellias and lace into bijoux. This disc pendant preserves a swatch of lace under resin, with the CC worked into the design and small pearls and crystals suspended as if scattered on a dressing table.

The chain adjusts from about 42 to 47 cm, so the disc sits at the collarbone. The chain’s finish is a dark gunmetal rather than bright silver, as made.
