The Piece

Chanel’s menagerie of jewellery is small and select: lions for Leo, camellias, bees, and occasionally a deer, a motif the house used for the Métiers d’Art collections shown in the Alpine and Salzburg seasons. The fawn is set with crystals and walks on a gold-plated chain long enough to wear over a coat.

The chain adjusts from about 60 to 67.5 cm and carries small CC and faux-pearl stations along its length, so the necklace reads as Chanel from every angle.
