Chanel CC Logo Flap Bag, White, Red and Navy Tweed with White Leather CC, Chain Shoulder Strap

A small Chanel flap in summer tweed woven in white, coral red and navy, with an oversized white leather CC across the front and a chain threaded in white leather.

The Piece

Tweed was Gabrielle Chanel's own discovery, borrowed from the Scottish estates of the Duke of Westminster, and it remains the house fabric. This flap bag uses it in a light summer weave of white, coral red and navy, with an oversized interlocking CC appliquéd in white leather so the logo becomes the whole design.

A gold Chanel Paris plaque sits on the upper curve of the C. The flap closes magnetically, there is an open pocket on the back, and the interior is lined in blue denim-effect fabric with a zipped pocket and the Chanel Made in Italy plaque. The gold chain is threaded with white leather with a shoulder pad and finishes with a small CC charm.

At 17.7 cm wide it is a neat day bag for phone, cards and keys. The fixed strap, up to 106 cm, wears on the shoulder or across the body.

• Small scratches and light marks on the chain strap leather.
• Light marks inside.
• Small scratches to the hardware.
• As with all woven tweed, slight irregularities in weave and seams are inherent to the fabric.

Authenticity & Care

Serial number, interior stamp, quilting alignment, stitch rhythm, leather grain and CC hardware are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch.
