Chanel CC Crystal Pendant Necklace with Faux Pearl Drop, Gold Tone, 2015 (B15V), with Box

A crystal CC with a single faux pearl hanging beneath it, on a slender gold-tone chain. The everyday Chanel necklace, from the 2015 collections, with its box and pouch.

The Piece

Chanel’s small CC pendants are the house’s most worn jewellery, and the pearl-drop version adds a note of the founder’s own strands without any weight. The chain is long enough, about 63 cm, to sit at the breastbone over a knit or to be doubled.

This example has seen use: the faux pearl shows some loss of its coating, which is described below and shown in the photographs, and the box and pouch are worn.
