The Piece

The camellia was the flower Gabrielle Chanel pinned to her lapel because it has no scent to quarrel with N°5, and the bow was her borrowing from the ribbons of schoolgirls. Together they make the most feminine object in the house vocabulary.

At about 14 cm wide the bow holds a full ponytail or sits at the nape beneath a chignon. The barrette closes with a firm snap.
