Chanel Cambon Line Quilted Square Clip-On Earrings, Beige and Black Resin, with Box

The Cambon line in miniature: a square of quilted beige resin with the black CC at one corner, exactly as it appeared on the bags of 2004. Clip-on, with the house box.

The Piece

Launched in 2004 and named for the rue Cambon, the Cambon line put a large black CC on quilted calfskin and became one of Chanel’s most recognisable bag designs of the decade. The studio made matching bijoux in resin, of which these are the earrings.

The pair is light and sits close to the lobe on a clip, and the beige-and-black palette goes with everything the line was designed around.
