A 23SS Vietnam Jacket from WACKO MARIA's long-running collaboration with tattoo artist Tim Lehi, whose tiger imagery is a cornerstone of the brand's outerwear. Worked in black cotton-based velvet with a flaming tiger motif, it joins tattoo symbolism to the souvenir-jacket lineage.

The Piece

The flaming tiger draws on traditional tattoo symbolism of strength, danger and defiance, while the Vietnam jacket silhouette comes from the postwar souvenir garments worn by American servicemen and later reinterpreted within Japanese fashion culture.

Velvet construction gives the jacket depth and visual gravity, setting it apart from the more common rayon Vietnam jackets. It closes with a front zip and has two front pockets.
