Takashi Murakami Kaikai & Kiki Blue Eyes Ver., conjunto de esculturas de vinilo blando, dos figuras, sellado

Kaikai and Kiki, the twin guardians of Takashi Murakami's Superflat universe, step off the picture plane in this soft vinyl pair. The Blue Eyes variation shifts their emotional reading without changing their form, and this set remains completely new and sealed in its original illustrated boxes.

The Piece

Murakami's Superflat philosophy collapses depth into surface; soft vinyl reverses that tension. Here Kaikai and Kiki leave the plane and become physical presences, objects that occupy space rather than images on it, even while they remain boxed.

The two characters are complementary forces in Murakami's visual language. Kaikai, in white, leans toward softness and innocence; Kiki, in pink, introduces distortion, imbalance and unpredictability. Placed together they complete an emotional circuit, which is why they are so often released as a pair.

The Blue Eyes version is a subtle but meaningful variant. In Murakami's system a small change of color, particularly in the eyes, alters how a character is read while leaving its structure intact, and collectors follow such variants closely.

The illustrated boxes, in a dual white and pink scheme with Murakami branding and character artwork, are part of the work. Sealed, the set exists in a double state, visible through its packaging yet untouched. It speaks to fine art collectors moving into three-dimensional works, soft vinyl and designer toy collectors, and anyone seeking a single focal object.
