A Supreme and Number (N)ine varsity jacket from Fall/Winter 2025, black melton wool with green leather sleeves and a chenille Mickey Mouse leaning into a microphone stand on the front and back.
The Piece
Number (N)ine, Takahiro Miyashita's Tokyo label of the late 1990s and 2000s, built its reputation on rock and roll: Kurt Cobain, cigarette burns, guitar straps and a kind of romantic grunge that Japanese and American collectors still chase. Its revival in collaboration with Supreme for Fall/Winter 2025 brought that vocabulary back to the New York house, with Disney's Mickey recast as a front man at the microphone.
The varsity jacket was the centrepiece of the capsule. The body is black wool, the sleeves are bottle-green leather, and the knit collar, cuffs and hem carry cream and green stripes. Mickey appears in chenille and felt appliqué on the left chest, gripping a mic stand, and again at full scale across the back above SUPREME in cream chenille letters. A small NUMBER (N)INE wordmark is embroidered on the right chest, leather-welted pockets sit at the hips, and the satin lining is finished with a band of musical notation at the collar and a joint New York and Tokyo label.
Tagged size S, it is cut in the boxy, slightly cropped varsity line, with a wide shoulder and full sleeve. It sits well over a hoodie and will suit a men's small to medium who likes room through the body.
The jacket presents clean, with the leather sleeves soft and even and the chenille full.
