A dragon rises from seigaiha-style waves while a phoenix descends across the shoulders, the pair wrapping black satin in gold, ivory and charcoal thread. Reversed, champagne brocade carries a quiet tsuru-kame crane-and-turtle roundel: four auspicious creatures across the two faces of one tagged size M sukajan.
The Piece
The principal black-and-champagne face is almost entirely consumed by its embroidery. A sinuous dragon coils upward through seigaiha-style waves, its scales and mane articulated in layers of gold, ivory, taupe and charcoal thread, while an expansive phoenix spreads its wings across the upper back, filling the shoulder area with individually worked feathers. The two bodies meet across the shoulders and continue around the front panels, so that, rather than relying on separate chest emblems, the artwork wraps the garment with the scale and movement of a complete textile mural.
Turned inside out, the mood becomes quieter but no less ornate. A champagne jacquard ground woven with dense cloud and dragon-like patterning carries tonal auspicious-bird medallions on the chest, and the back holds a circular crane-and-turtle composition in pale ivory embroidery, recalling the traditional tsuru-kame pairing long associated with endurance, harmony and longevity. Black jacquard sleeves, striped piping and monochrome ribbing keep the pale-gold face from becoming overly formal and preserve the athletic sukajan silhouette.
Together the four creatures form a visual language of balance: the dragon for energy, authority and upward momentum; the phoenix for renewal, refinement and harmony; the crane for grace, fidelity and long life; the turtle for endurance, stability and protection. The four-creature theme is uncommon, and the black satin and champagne-gold colorway gives the jacket strong crossover appeal between sukajan, tattoo art and luxury streetwear.
The embroidery is especially substantial, covering much of the torso in a richly textured, almost sculptural surface. Worn with denim and boots, layered over minimal black clothing or displayed as textile art, the jacket holds its presence from every angle.
