Maqueta DeAgostini Honda NSX a escala 1/18 con control remoto, luces funcionales, capó abatible e interior rojo

The Honda NSX reframed what a supercar could be: mid-engine balance and exotic proportions with a precision that felt almost architectural. This DeAgostini model in white with a black roof and red interior comes with its remote, lit pop-up headlights and an opening hood over a detailed engine bay.

The Piece

A premium NSX model is a scaled study of one of the most important Japanese performance designs of the late twentieth century, sitting on the line between engineering and purity. In miniature the car's clarity becomes even more visible: long, clean surfaces, a deliberate stance and a greenhouse and shoulders that flow without needing aggression to feel fast.

Electronics and a remote take the piece beyond static diecast; it performs its identity, with lights on, hood open and engine revealed. The red interior against the white body and black roof gives a high-contrast, gallery-friendly look, restrained outside and vivid within.

The NSX embodies technical restraint with deep confidence. It does not shout; it sits correctly, low, poised and balanced, and collectors read it as designed rather than merely styled. Pop-up headlights were a mechanical solution that became a signature gesture, and lit on a model they show the engineering theater of the era in miniature.

Electronics-bearing models follow a different survival curve from pure diecast: the body may stay perfect while wiring, battery contacts or the remote go missing, which makes the presence of the remote significant. The NSX itself remains historically pivotal, having shifted expectations of build quality, driving precision and reliability across the performance world.

Partwork Publishing Heritage

De Agostini sits at the intersection of publishing and collecting. Founded in Italy and active worldwide, it pioneered the modern partwork, serialized magazine issues paired with physical components, turning collecting into a structured experience unfolding over time rather than a single retail purchase. In Japan it became especially influential through officially licensed series, each framed editorially with history, diagrams and narrative so that the finished object could be read and studied as well as displayed.
