Yoshitoku Star Wars Stormtrooper Samurai Armor Gogatsu Ningyo Display with Byobu Screen, Made to Order

An officially licensed Stormtrooper gogatsu ningyo by Yoshitoku, a historic Japanese doll atelier with over 300 years of continuous craftsmanship. Star Wars iconography is reinterpreted through the formal language of the samurai armor display, an icon rendered quiet, formal and powerful.

The Piece

In Japanese culture, gogatsu ningyo armor displays symbolize protection, discipline and strength. This work transforms the Stormtrooper helmet into a kabuto-inspired form, presented on a ceremonial armor stand and framed by a byobu-style screen depicting a stylized galactic battlefield.

Every element, from the Imperial crests that replace clan mon to the weapon standards flanking the armor, is designed to respect both Star Wars canon and Japanese martial aesthetics. Materials include resin cast components, lacquer-finished surfaces, textile elements and a custom display base.

Made to order, the piece is intended for serious collectors of Star Wars, Japanese armor and crossover art objects; it is not a toy. It suits the collector who wants presence without clutter, a space curated like a private gallery, and craft-driven homage over loud merchandise.
