The Piece

The front centers on the bold "SAINT" logo, deliberately distressed and surrounded by an explosion of doodles, grotesque characters and vivid illustration. The back intensifies the narrative with surreal religious satire, chaotic handwritten text and Murakami's manga-inspired portrait lines hidden within the artwork, drawing on the label's destructive aesthetic, 1980s punk zines, psychological graffiti and Murakami's hyper-saturated visual language.

The cotton carries SAINT MICHAEL's signature washed, aged "used-finish" treatment: natural fading, intentional imperfections and the vintage-like drape that defines the label, where beauty is found in distortion and luxury in narrative.

SAINT MICHAEL (SAINT Mxxxxxx) is the joint creation of READYMADE's Yuta Hosokawa and Los Angeles artist Cali Thornhill DeWitt, built on vintage reconstruction, religious satire, anti-establishment design and hand-worked aging. Its collaborations with Murakami merge the Superflat pop universe with heavy punk energy, producing some of the most collectible streetwear artworks of the 2020s. This 21AW tee is among the most wanted early-era releases and is now difficult to find, especially in a Japan-market M, which fits slightly oversized.
