From the second Louis Vuitton × Yayoi Kusama collaboration, this Coffret Accessoires miniature trunk carries Kusama's pumpkins in turquoise, teal and sapphire across classic Monogram canvas. Fitted for watches, jewelry and sunglasses, it is a working Vuitton trunk and a small gallery object at once, offered here in unused display condition.

The Piece

The Coffret Accessoires was designed for the second wave of the Louis Vuitton × Yayoi Kusama partnership. Kusama's Pumpkins, a motif she has returned to throughout her career as an emblem of joy, whimsy and meditative repetition, are rendered here in striking turquoise, teal and sapphire blue tones and printed with remarkable precision over the house Monogram canvas.

Beneath the artwork the construction is pure Vuitton trunk-making: brass hardware, reinforced corners and the traditional hard-sided build that recalls the Maison's travel heritage. The pumpkins speak to Kusama's recurring themes of immortality and joy, set against the most recognizable canvas in luxury.

Inside, the compact interior is fitted with compartments for sunglasses, watches, jewelry and small accessories. A removable mini pouch, also printed with pumpkins, completes the ensemble.

The model is counted among the most sought-after pieces of the second LV × YK wave and was produced in very limited numbers; examples in this state rarely reach the secondary market. It suits a vitrine, a dressing room or the center of a Vuitton collection equally well.
