A short-type denim jacket, bleached by hand to a singular texture and given a back of Kyoto kimono silk. COTE MER pairs the city's nishiki-ori brocade with workwear denim in a compact, one-of-one piece made by hand in Japan.
The Piece
The jacket has been bleached to give it a unique texture, and its back, together with the sleeves, is made with kimono fabric, a symbol of Japan, imported from Kyoto. The kimono is nishiki-ori (錦織), the patterned silk brocade of Kyoto's weaving tradition, and COTE MER counts the combination among its best-looking kimono pieces.
Cut in a short type, it is a versatile piece for street or mode. Every jacket is handmade in the atelier's own factory, so this denim jacket is one of a kind in the world, for those who do not want to wear the same clothing as others.

Handmade by COTE MER in its own Japanese workshop, with Kyoto nishiki-ori kimono silk on the back and sleeves. Every piece is examined and documented in Japan before dispatch and is offered with the Japonista authenticity guarantee.
Delivery from Japan
Packed by hand in Japan and shipped insured and tracked by EMS or an equivalent express service. Import duties and taxes, where applicable, are payable on arrival. Returns follow our published policy.
