How the Inbound Executive VIP Program Works

1. Step 1 – Send Your Intent Message
   Share your desired dates, number of guests, and what you wish to accomplish in Japan (shopping goals, categories, budget range, locations of interest).
2. Step 2 – Case Acceptance Fee ($1,000)
   We issue an invoice for a $1,000 consultation and case acceptance fee. This confirms your seriousness and places your inquiry in our executive queue. This fee is fully credited toward your final program amount once your case is accepted.
3. Step 3 – Strategic Planning & Itinerary Design
   Upon payment, we begin crafting your customized itinerary – boutiques, antique houses, galleries, fairs, dealers, driving routes, timing, and negotiation points are all pre-planned to maximize your time in Japan.
4. Step 4 – Your VIP Accompaniment Day
   On the day itself, your bilingual executive and Alphard-class van arrive at your hotel or designated location. From there, the day unfolds smoothly: you focus on acquisitions while we take care of language, logistics, and leverage at the negotiation table.

Out-of-Town & Multi-Day Missions

• Trips outside Greater Tokyo (e.g., Kyoto, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka) quoted based on scope
• Multi-day accompaniment and business-focused missions can be arranged
• Hotel, meals, and accommodations for the assigned executive are the responsibility of the client

The consultation fee is a case acceptance and planning fee that becomes a credit toward your final program amount once we accept and confirm your case. It is not a stand-alone refundable deposit, but it is fully applied to your confirmed program invoice.

Can I book multiple days?

Yes. We frequently support clients on multi-day missions and out-of-town excursions. If you are visiting trade fairs, exploring multiple cities, or combining business and leisure, we can craft a dedicated schedule for you.

Can you help with shipping all my purchases?

Absolutely. Through Japonista’s logistics and export framework, we can pack, document, and ship your acquisitions from Japan to your home country. This allows you to enjoy the thrill of acquiring while leaving the paperwork and behind-the-scenes processes to us.

Can you evaluate antiques, art, or jewelry before I commit?

While we do not act as formal appraisers or licensed investment advisors, your executive is trained in market awareness, authenticity cues, and negotiation dynamics. When needed, we may also recommend external experts or appraisal services for higher-risk pieces.
