Undercover Shepherd x Fragment x Alpha Industries Reversible MA-1 Bomber Jacket, Black, Size 2

A three-way MA-1 from Undercover's Shepherd line, Hiroshi Fujiwara's Fragment and Alpha Industries: the classic flight jacket in black nylon, with a printed white sleeve panel and a fully reversible interior.

The Piece

Jun Takahashi and Hiroshi Fujiwara have been friends and collaborators since the early days of Ura-Harajuku, and pieces that bring Undercover and Fragment together have a dedicated following. This version brings in Alpha Industries, the American maker that supplied the original MA-1 to the US Air Force, and it carries the Shepherd label, Undercover's quieter line.

The outside is the familiar MA-1: black nylon shell, knitted collar, cuffs and hem, two flap pockets and the zipped utility pocket on the left sleeve. That sleeve is panelled in white with a black woven patch and a repeating printed motif towards the cuff. Turned inside out, the jacket shows a contrasting reverse with white ribbing and a light blue striped lining detail at the hem.

Size 2 measures 46 cm at the shoulder and 61 cm across the chest, a compact fit in keeping with the original flight jacket.
