A block-heeled pump that turns Yayoi Kusama’s polka dots into a pattern of glossy cream circles across black patent leather.
The Piece
Louis Vuitton’s first Kusama collaboration put the artist’s dots on everything from trunks to shoes, and these ribbon pumps are among its most graphic pieces: a high block heel, a Monogram bow at the toe and a field of irregular white dots that read as paint on black lacquer.
They come from the 2012 collaboration. The patent shows fading and scuffing, and the soles are worn.

Condition
- Graded C in Japan: the surface shows fading, scuffs and soiling.
- Insoles are marked and the outsoles are worn, as the photographs show.

Authenticity & Care
Date code, Monogram alignment, heat stamp, vachetta trim, stitching and hardware engraving are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch. Every piece carries the Japonista authenticity guarantee. Keep them on shoe trees in a breathable bag, brush off dust with a soft cloth, and take any deeper cleaning to a shoe specialist.
