A washed indigo trucker from Louis Vuitton's limited Darjeeling Limited capsule, embroidered all over with giraffes, zebras, elephants, cheetahs and palms in the spirit of the trunks made for Wes Anderson's 2007 film.
The Piece
In 2007 Louis Vuitton made a set of luggage for Wes Anderson's The Darjeeling Limited, decorated with whimsical animal illustrations by Eric Chase Anderson. The bags became cult objects in their own right. Pharrell Williams revisited them for spring-summer 2026, turning the menagerie into a limited capsule of embroidered ready-to-wear.
This jacket is a mid-wash indigo denim trucker with a faded, vintage-style finish, scattered front, back and sleeves with finely embroidered giraffes, zebras, elephants, rhinoceroses, cheetahs, gazelles and palm trees. The back pocket at the waist is embroidered L.V.M. with an elephant, and the front closes with large pearlescent buttons. Inside, a navy lining of viscose, cotton and polyester, and a leather patch printed with the same animal drawings.
Size 48 has a relaxed, slightly oversized trucker shape. It is playful but grown-up, and as a limited capsule piece it will be hard to find again in this condition.
