The Piece

Bold geometric patchwork runs across the front of a mustard cotton ground, in the confident colour of Kansai Yamamoto’s early ready-to-wear years. A button-down collar and a centre box pleat down the back give it the generous, easy line of the period.

It was tailored in Japan by the shirtmaker CHOYA, and the sewing is as careful as the pattern is loud.
