Chanel 25K Drawstring Bucket Bag with Gold Icon Charms AS5824, Black Lambskin, Box and Dust Bag

A small Chanel drawstring bucket from the 25K collection, black quilted leather scattered with gold house icons: the camellia, the bow, the clover, the heart and a pearl.

The Piece

Chanel has always treated its own symbols as a vocabulary, and the 25K collection gathers them onto a single bag. The front of this bucket carries a scattered constellation of brushed-gold charms, each one a reference to Gabrielle Chanel's personal mythology: the camellia she wore, the bow from her couture, the four-leaf clover, a heart and a faux pearl set in gold.

The bag itself is reference AS5824, a compact drawstring bucket in black leather with Chanel's large diamond quilting. A leather-threaded gold chain runs through grommets at the top to gather the opening, and a CC charm and bow hang from the central chain. The interior is lined in navy fabric with the Chanel Made in Italy stamp and a slip pocket.

At 16.5 cm wide and 15.5 cm high it holds a phone, cardholder and lipstick. The chain extends to 115 cm, so it wears across the body or doubled on the shoulder, and it photographs beautifully at both lengths.

It comes complete with the Chanel box and dust bag.
