Takashi Murakami × Doraemon Annakoto Konnakoto Dekitara Iina, póster offset, campo de flores, sin abrir

Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian and Suneo fly across a clear blue sky above Murakami's flower field, the poster's title borrowing the theme song's wish, if only we could do all these things. An official collaboration poster, this example is unopened, with its sheet intact and colors unfaded.

The Piece

A visually expansive collaboration between Takashi Murakami and the Doraemon universe of Fujiko F. Fujio, the composition shows the beloved characters suspended in flight against a clear blue sky, anchored below by Murakami's signature floral field. It keeps the simplicity and accessibility of the original Doraemon visual language while bringing in Murakami's structured approach to repetition and surface.

The image is built on upward motion. The characters are not grounded but mid-flight through an open blue field that communicates freedom, imagination and possibility, echoing Doraemon's thematic core of tools, dreams and the idea that anything can be achieved. Murakami does not alter the message; he amplifies it through clarity and structure. Below, the flower field stabilizes the open sky, setting up a vertical hierarchy of flowers, clouds, characters and sky: the flowers bring rhythm, the clouds softness and separation, the characters narrative, and the sky lets everything breathe.

Bold outlines, flat color blocks and minimal visual interference make every element immediately legible, so the work reads across audiences: a collector sees structure, a fan sees characters, a casual viewer sees joy. Doraemon is a cultural constant across generations, and in aligning with that language Murakami gives the poster a reach driven by recognition and emotional recall rather than scarcity, appealing to anime collectors, Murakami collectors seeking collaboration diversity and interiors calling for a clean, uplifting composition.
