Archive Mihara Yasuhiro jeans from the label's earlier era, patched, ripped and paint-stained by hand on Japanese denim and bought new from the brand's own shop well over a decade ago.
The Piece
Before the Maison prefix and the original-sole sneakers made the brand global, Mihara Yasuhiro's clothing line was produced by Sosu International in Tokyo. Denim from that period is sought after by collectors who prefer the earlier, rougher hand: heavy washes, layered repairs and deliberate grime that feel closer to workwear than to fashion.
These five-pocket jeans are made in Japan from 100% cotton denim with a strong vintage wash, whiskering and honeycomb creasing. Patches of contrasting denim are set into the front thighs, knee and lower leg with visible stitching, there are rips with white weft showing through, and greenish stain effects and paint flecks are scattered down both legs. The fly, rivets and back pockets follow classic jean construction, and the waistband label reads MIHARAYASUHIRO.
Men's size S measures about 80 cm at the waist with a slim straight leg and an 83 cm inseam. They wear well with a plain white T-shirt and boots, or under any of the layered Mihara jackets.

The labels, materials, stitching, hardware and construction are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch; anything that cannot be confirmed is stated plainly in the description.
