The set reinterprets the Vuitton trunk as a recursive system. Graduated cases arranged in ascending formation turn the functional logic of storage into a display architecture; each trunk can stand alone, yet each belongs to the whole, so the set works as both a group of individual cases and a single object.

The Monogram Multicolor pattern marks the moment Louis Vuitton allowed its most sacred symbol to be fragmented and recolored. Here it spreads across many planes: stacked, the pattern multiplies from level to level, and the pyramid draws the eye upward through layers of color, so Murakami's influence lies in the orchestration of the pattern across space as much as in the print.
