Louis Vuitton × Yayoi Kusama Academy Line Loafers, Black Leather with Polka-Dot Chain, Size 36

A chunky black leather loafer whose chain trim is dotted in black and white: Kusama at the scale of a detail.

The Piece

The Academy Line takes the schoolroom loafer and gives it a lugged sole and a heavy chain across the vamp. For the Kusama collaboration the links carry white dots on black, so the shoe stays severe until the light catches them.

The stamp on the sole and the dust bag are as supplied.

Every piece carries the Japonista authenticity guarantee. Keep them on shoe trees in a breathable bag, brush off dust with a soft cloth, and take any deeper cleaning to a shoe specialist.
