The Urs Fischer OnTheGo GM from the 2020 LVxUF collaboration, its Monogram blown up and tufted in raised red bouclé over black, complete with box and dust bag.
The Piece
For his 2020 collaboration with Louis Vuitton, the Swiss artist Urs Fischer took the Monogram as if drawn by hand and enlarged it, scattering wobbly flowers and LV initials across each surface. On the OnTheGo GM, model M45562, those motifs are tufted in raised red and white pile over black, giving the bag the texture of a rug or a soft sculpture.
The OnTheGo GM is the house's largest everyday tote: an open, structured rectangle with two long shoulder straps and two shorter top handles, so it can be carried by hand or on the shoulder. Inside, a black Monogram print in a subtle reverse finish lines the bag, an elegant counterpoint to the playful exterior.
The LVxUF line was produced in limited quantities and has become one of the most graphic of recent Louis Vuitton artist collaborations. The black and red colourway is the most striking of the series and photographs beautifully.
This example comes with the Louis Vuitton box and dust bag. It has been used lightly, holds its shape well, and the tufting remains full and bright.

Date code, Monogram alignment, heat stamp, vachetta trim, stitching and hardware engraving are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch. Every piece carries the Japonista authenticity guarantee. Brush the tufting gently with a soft brush and store stuffed in its dust bag to keep the shape.
