The Pochette Métis in its Patches dress: classic Monogram canvas scattered with varsity-style chenille and embroidered badges, including Voguez Vuitton, a pink LV and a dagger-pierced heart.
The Piece
In 2018 Louis Vuitton released a Patches series across its best-selling shapes, decorating the Monogram with collegiate chenille, embroidered script and tattoo-flash motifs. On the Pochette Métis, already one of the house's most popular day bags, the effect is especially playful.
The flap carries a red Voguez badge, a blue Vuitton script, a pink chenille LV and a round black Monogram patch edged in yellow. On the back, a red heart pierced by a dagger bears an L. Vuitton banner, beside the external zipped pocket.
The brass S-lock closure opens to a fuchsia microfibre interior with three compartments, the middle one zipped. A natural cowhide top handle and a detachable, adjustable Monogram strap allow hand or crossbody carry. The date stamp is DR3128.
It brings a personal, customised energy to a structured bag, and the Patches editions have become firm favourites among Monogram collectors.

Condition
- Pre-owned, graded AB.
- Light marks on the exterior and on the strap and handle.
- Interior lightly marked.
- Hardware with scratches, some plating wear and fading; zip shows minor oxidation.
- A faint characteristic material odour.

Date code, Monogram alignment, heat stamp, vachetta trim, stitching and hardware engraving are examined together and documented in Japan before dispatch. Every piece carries the Japonista authenticity guarantee. Keep the cowhide handle dry and protect the brass lock from knocks; store with the strap detached.
