Louis Vuitton M48126 baúl para dar cuerda a relojes Monogram, Coffret de posición única con herrajes dorados

A compact Louis Vuitton presentation case that joins the Maison's trunkmaking vocabulary to the specialized function of a single-watch winder. Standing approximately 19 cm high in classic brown Monogram with gold-tone hardware, the M48126 is as compelling as a decorative object as it is as working watch equipment.

The Piece

The case is formed as a vertically proportioned miniature trunk. Its Monogram canvas exterior is finished with traditional trunk-inspired hardware, including a prominent central lock plate, side fittings and reinforced edges. Opening the hinged upper section reveals a pale fitted interior housing a removable padded watch cushion within a circular winding compartment, and the restrained brown exterior and light interior form a classic Louis Vuitton palette that keeps the watch inside visually prominent.

The integrated mechanism winds a single automatic wristwatch, and its function has been confirmed as operational. Because automatic watches vary in their winding requirements, compatibility with a specific movement should be considered separately from the physical fit of the watch on the cushion.

Louis Vuitton was founded on specialized travel trunks, and its historic strength lies in building structured cases around the exact object they protect. The M48126 applies rigid geometry, hardware framing and fitted internal organization to the care and display of a mechanical wristwatch. Closed, it resembles a miniature Monogram travel trunk; opened, it frames a single watch more like a presentation case than an ordinary winder.

Specialized hard-sided objects such as watch cases, jewelry trunks and presentation coffrets are closely tied to Louis Vuitton's original trunkmaking identity. This example combines compact hard-sided construction, classic brown Monogram, dedicated single-watch presentation, an operational winding mechanism, gold-tone trunk hardware and French manufacture, with a small footprint suited to dressing rooms, wardrobes, bedside or executive interiors, collector libraries and cabinet displays.
