Louis Vuitton City Steamer PM N95818, bolso reversible de piel exótica de cocodrilo caimán azul, herrajes dorados

Rendered in luminous blue crocodilian leather with gold-tone hardware, this City Steamer PM N95818 turns Louis Vuitton's most architectural modern handbag into something close to a jewel-box object. Broad belly scales, high gloss and a central gold lock give it a vivid, sculptural presence; it arrives with strap, padlock, key and name tag.

The Piece

A striking exotic-leather interpretation of Louis Vuitton's structured City Steamer, this PM is rendered in saturated electric-blue crocodilian leather with contrasting gold-tone hardware. Large central scales, smaller flank scales and the high-gloss finish create natural variation across every panel, a depth that embossed leather cannot reproduce. Its compact PM proportions are balanced by dual top handles and a removable shoulder strap, so the bag moves between formal hand carry and more relaxed shoulder wear.

The City Steamer is one of the Maison's most structured modern handbag forms. Its vertical profile is framed by two rigid top handles, carefully shaped side panels and a clean rectangular base, and the front is anchored by a polished gold-tone lock assembly. The blue emphasizes the natural scale geometry: broad rectangular belly scales dominate the central panels and transition into smaller, more irregular scales around the sides and structural edges, a variation intrinsic to genuine exotic leather that gives each panel its own character. Gold-tone front lock hardware, handle attachments, protective metal fittings, zipper hardware and detachable strap fittings give a rich, jewelry-like presence against the intense blue, far more dramatic than conventional calfskin versions.

Color defines this piece. Instead of the restrained formality of black or neutral versions, the City Steamer becomes vivid, sculptural and almost electric; the gold-tone lock sits at the center like a piece of jewelry while the scale pattern sets up natural movement across the disciplined geometry. The leather supplies organic irregularity, the architecture discipline and the hardware punctuation, the same visual rigor that shaped Louis Vuitton's historic travel pieces, here made more pronounced. Exotic-leather Louis Vuitton occupies a category distinct from Monogram or calfskin production, and the combination of City Steamer architecture, PM proportions, electric-blue crocodilian leather, gold-tone hardware, removable strap and complete lock-and-key presentation makes this a particularly striking collector-oriented version.
