The Piece

Black canvas, electric turquoise Monogram, a silhouette borrowed from expedition gear, and enough scale to make the familiar LV pattern almost architectural. The Christopher MM M21936 is crafted in black Monogram Playground coated canvas with near-neon turquoise-blue Monogram graphics, black cowhide leather trim and silver-tone hardware. Instead of brown and gold, the pattern glows against black; instead of polished city luggage, the structure references a rugged hiking pack. The result sits between technical backpack, luxury travel object and graphic statement piece.

It belongs to the Spring/Summer 2023 men's collection, which explored exaggerated scale, bright colors and playful treatments of familiar house codes. This is not a quiet interpretation of Monogram.
