The Piece

Wrapped in classic brown Monogram canvas, framed with natural leather trim and golden brass hardware, the M10098 is built as a rigid hard-sided trunk that opens vertically onto a meticulously organized interior for glassware and bar accessories. It behaves less like luggage than like a miniature travelling cabinet, its proportions unusually vertical so that the silhouette reads as furniture rather than the horizontal profile of a case.

Louis Vuitton began as a specialist trunk maker in Paris in 1854, developing rigid structures to protect personal objects in an increasingly mobile world. The Cave Whisky PM continues that lineage on an intimate scale and reinterprets the house's historical whisky case. The exterior is deliberately discreet. Repeating LV initials and Monogram Flowers wrap the tall rectangular body, natural leather edging adds warmth against the darker coated canvas, and gold-tone fittings punctuate the corners and closure points. Opening the cabinet reveals the drama of the design.
