Pale washed denim outside, thick cream sherpa within, and across the surface a riot of embroidery: a roaring tiger between the cursive words “L’Aveugle Par Amour”, mirrored birds, roses, butterflies and a small heart. The fleece lining, collar included, turns a decorated jean jacket into a cold-weather, ranch-style statement piece.
The Piece
This light-wash denim trucker combines the romantic maximalism of “L’Aveugle Par Amour” imagery with a substantial cream sherpa-style fleece lining. The entire interior is heavily lined, including the broad turn-down collar, giving the garment the personality of a winter trucker, ranch jacket or sherpa denim while preserving an elaborate tattoo-art exterior: soft ivory fleece inside, pale blue denim outside and jewel-like embroidery across the surface. It is part denim jacket, part tattoo flash wall, part souvenir jacket and part maximalist streetwear armor.
The thick cream pile fleece, visible through the body and collar, brings additional warmth, a more substantial body, richer texture, a stronger winter presence and a vintage ranch-jacket character, with marked contrast when the jacket is worn open. Against the pale washed denim it creates a softer, almost sun-faded Western look, which makes the bright embroidery stand out all the more.
The back reads vertically, like an illustrated crest. At the upper center two embroidered birds face inward toward a central floral motif, surrounded by flowers in red, orange, yellow, green and white with an almost heraldic symmetry. Below them the cursive “L’Aveugle” introduces the large roaring tiger head, rendered in burnt orange, amber, black, ivory, cream, deep red and warm brown, open-mouthed with exposed teeth and angular striping in classic tattoo-flash style. “Par Amour” follows beneath, and mirrored floral embroidery with a heart-shaped emblem completes the lower section. The French phrase can be understood as “Blinded by Love”, or more literally “The Blind One Through Love” or “Blind for Love”; the poetic wording turns the tiger, long a symbol of strength, courage, command and untamed force in Japanese and Asian decorative art, into part of a romantic narrative, an intriguing tension between aggression and romance.
The front presents a more structured version of the concept: paired bird motifs at the shoulders that echo those on the back, traditional dual flap chest pockets with two smaller butterfly appliqués set symmetrically beneath them, and large orange and rust-colored roses descending in mirrored, almost architectural columns either side of the closure. The sleeves are particularly elaborate, carrying a large red butterfly, an orange flower, a winged insect or bee, further outlined butterfly imagery and floral elements, so the artwork stays active from almost every angle; additional flowers appear on the sleeves and back. Read as tattoo flash, the motifs speak of strength, ferocity and protection (tiger), love, beauty and passion (roses), movement and freedom (birds), transformation, metamorphosis and impermanence (butterflies), devotion (heart) and life and renewal (flowers): a wearable narrative of love, mortality, change and power.
Though technically a denim trucker rather than a satin sukajan, the decorative philosophy is closely related: large symbolic imagery, embroidered animals, floral motifs, dramatic backs, contrasting color and densely worked thread turn outerwear into a storytelling surface, here with the sturdier everyday versatility of denim. The pale wash works as a neutral canvas, leaving the reds, oranges, yellows and greens of the embroidery to carry the color. Set beside the lightweight embroidered-denim interpretation of this imagery, the sherpa lining makes a less common combination: statement embroidery, classic trucker construction, winter lining, tattoo-art imagery, romantic French typography and animal and botanical symbolism. With decoration across front, sleeves and back, it holds strong display appeal even when not worn.

Condition
- Pre-owned, with the characteristic appearance of a washed and decorated denim garment: natural texture, creasing and possible minor signs of previous use.
- Possible age and use characteristics include denim fading, wash irregularity, slight discoloration, softened fabric, minor pile compression, embroidery fuzzing, loose fibers or threads, hardware patina, storage creasing, minor marks and natural wear around the cuffs, hem and collar.
- The cream sherpa interior deserves a careful look in the photographs, as light-colored fleece shows age and use more readily.
Fit and Sizing
No clearly readable exterior size label is visible, so the size is not confirmed. Sherpa-lined jackets have considerably more interior volume than unlined denim jackets, and the fleece reduces wearing room, particularly through the chest and sleeves, so external dimensions should not be read like those of a standard jean jacket. Compare back length, pit-to-pit width, shoulder width, sleeve length and hem width against a similarly lined jacket that already fits comfortably.
