From the first Palace and Junya Watanabe MAN collaboration in autumn-winter 2023: a black field-style work jacket scattered with embroidered Palace patches front and back.
The Piece
When Palace and Junya Watanabe MAN joined forces for autumn-winter 2023, it paired London skate culture with Tokyo pattern-cutting. This jacket captures the meeting point, a sober Junya work jacket used as a canvas for Palace graphics.
The black polyester shell has four flap pockets, a snap front, a point collar and drawcord adjusters at the hem. Embroidered patches cover the front: the Palace P, a yin-yang, a star, a hand, a portrait badge and the Palace wordmark. On the back, a gradient Palace logo across the yoke, a further badge at the shoulder and a P at the hem. The interior is lined with black mesh.
Product code WM-J013, AD2023, made in Japan, with both Junya Watanabe MAN and Palace neck labels. The cut is boxy and slightly cropped, so a tagged XS fits a small to medium frame.
A collaboration piece with strong appeal to both menswear collectors and the skate crowd.
