A Junya Watanabe MAN and Levi's AW2024 hybrid jacket, a washed Levi's trucker cut open and rebuilt over a black knit cardigan body.

The Piece

Junya Watanabe's Levi's pieces work by collision: two familiar garments forced into one. For AW2024 the trucker jacket met the knit cardigan, and the result is one of the season's most wearable and most distinctive pieces.

The front is a light-washed Levi's trucker with its pleated panels, flap chest pockets, hand pockets and shank buttons, finished with a raw, frayed hem over a second band of darker denim. The back and much of the body underneath are black knit in cotton and polyester, so the jacket wears with the ease of a cardigan. The denim sleeves are cut wide and attached to black knit cuffs, and an open seam shows a flash of indigo at the back.

The product code is WO-J206 and the AD2024 date confirms the season. The joint red Levi's and Junya Watanabe MAN label sits at the neck, and the jacket is made in Japan. The tag is included.

Tagged S, it is cut oversized: 57 cm across the dropped shoulders, 62 cm pit to pit and 71 cm long. It suits a men's small to large worn loose.
