Twin Marks PRO SPECIAL PROTUNE-N, 3 to 10, right-handed, on N.S. Pro 950 steel shafts in stiff flex.
The Piece
Before BERES there was Twin Marks, the Honma line of the 1990s and 2000s that put gold on the back of the head and the twin-mole mark on every club. Collectors of old Sakata clubs look for complete, matched sets, graded by stars for shaft and finish.
The Pro Special Protune-N is the players’ version of the Twin Marks cavity, made under the Hiro Honma name. This set runs 3 to 10, 8 clubs in all, right-handed, on N.S. Pro 950 steel shafts in stiff flex.
A Hiro Honma players’ set on steel: the Pro Special Protune-N heads from 3 to 10 iron, with N.S. Pro 950 shafts. The flex is not printed on the shafts, and the first step suggests stiff.
