HONMA BERES MG803 3-Star Iron Set, 5 to 11 plus SW, 8 Clubs, ARMRQ UD54 Regular Flex

For the right-handed player: 8 BERES MG803 irons in the three-star grade, ARMRQ UD54 shafts, regular flex.

The Piece

BERES is the line Honma builds at the top of its range in Sakata, Yamagata, where the heads are forged and polished by hand and the ARMRQ carbon shafts are wound in the company’s own factory. The star grade on the shaft sets the tier: two stars for the standard ARMRQ shaft, three for a lighter, higher-grade shaft with more gold on the head, four and five for 24-karat gold plates and rings.

The MG803 of 2009 is a forged BERES iron with a deep cavity and the ARMRQ UD shaft, from the first years of the line. This set runs 5 to 11 plus SW, 8 clubs in all, right-handed, on ARMRQ UD54 shafts in regular flex.
