The Piece

Sangles are the girths that hold a saddle in place, and Hermès began as a harness and saddle maker. The carré lines them up as if on the workshop wall, each strap woven in different stripes and finished with stitched leather and a buckle.

A turquoise and red border carries a HERMÈS-PARIS plate. It is cheerful, graphic and easy to tie.
