An unused Hermès Mini Lindy in canvas toile and dark Bai Brun Swift with palladium hardware, the house's most playful structured bag in a quietly rich two-tone.
The Piece
The Lindy arrived in 2007 with an unusual idea: two handles that fold down over a front flap, a zip on either side and a body that slouches into a soft rectangle, so that it can be carried by hand, on the shoulder or cross-body. The Mini, a little under 20 cm across, has become one of the most requested Hermès bags of the past decade.
This example sets a natural-toned toile body against Bai Brun Swift, a deep brown calfskin, for the handles, trim, base corners and strap. The hardware is palladium, and the turn-lock and feet still carry their protective film.
Inside are two open pockets, and outside two more open pockets under the flap. The G stamp dates it to 2026.
At about 18 by 13 cm with a 9 cm gusset, it holds a phone, cards and keys, and the adjustable shoulder strap makes it easy to wear cross-body.
