A brand-new Kelly 25 in Sellier construction, cut from bright red Epsom and finished with gold hardware, stamped K for 2025 and complete with every accessory.
The Piece
The Kelly began as a saddle-maker's bag in the 1930s and took its name from Grace Kelly in the 1950s. Sellier, the original construction, stitches the panels from the outside so every edge is crisp and the bag keeps its trapezoid outline for decades. The 25 is the size most requested today: compact, perfectly proportioned and wearable from morning to evening.
This example is in Epsom, a pressed calfskin with a fine, regular grain that resists scratches and holds structure beautifully, which suits the sharp lines of Sellier particularly well. The colour is a vivid, clear red; the shade is believed to be Rouge Radieux, and we describe it simply as bright red because the name is not printed on the bag.
Gold-plated hardware is used throughout: the turn-lock and sangles, the four base feet, the padlock and keys in their clochette, and the strap clasps. The interior is lined in matching red with a zip pocket and an open pocket, and the removable shoulder strap allows the bag to be worn on the shoulder or across the body.
Stamped K for 2025 and made in France, it is unworn and comes as a full set. For a buyer who wants a new Kelly without the long wait, it is the cleanest possible starting point.
